In my eyes every human being deserves freedom, and here in america that's what we get. Dejectedly, In iran the people are forced to live by the Ayatollah's version of the muslim religion. At first when i heard that fact, honestly i didnt really care. But when My Homies Persuaded me to look into their shoes and think..."what if I where Forced to wear a veil" "What if I Was Forced to Live by an Insane's hypocrytes rules" I realized how bad those poor people have it. In our conversasion we touched every point we have learned so far about the revolution and after this discussion i felt very prepared and knowledgeable, I also have a Strong opinion toward the people of Iran. I-AM-READY.

The Viel

In iranian modern culture you see all women wearing veils, this is because it is a religous law set by the Ayatolla (the religous leader). Within the women wearing the veil many women wear full body veils apposed to just on their head. The women with the full body veils are much more religious, this means they follow the ayatollah as well. I feel the reason for this is... Some islamic women feel the need a type of guidence so they turn to the most popular source.

IRAN OR DIERAN teeheeeee

Well I understand that my consious and an Ayatooyahs concous are completely different, but what I learned in the past few lectures is that some of the ayatooyahs idea's and laws; from my point of view, are just unnesesary. I mean seriously are you freakin kidding me? A life were you were forced to were dress code, that just stinks...
In the video we learned about the huge extreme of veils for women. I understand that the reason for them goes way back before biggy, but forcing people to where veils is just devastating. Even interviews in the videos showed ISLAMIC WOMEN disapproving their laws and veils. So i say no veils the world was meant to be free.

My thoughts on the dust bowl...

As i lay on this rough fulled ground, i watch my suffering kids and wife snuggle together like sandwich, oh what id give for a sandwich. I sit and think of the past traumatic events that my once wealthy family have been through. I stand and look back at my once supplied crops, and with terror see nothing but golden sand, this could only be a result of the now presumed "dust bowl" a series of huge storms of sand. I look back at my kids and a tear runs down my eye, as i think about the horrid life that awaits us once we leave this once loved plain. I think of the money we once had and how hard it will be to obtain it. Especially with the frequent rumors of job loses. I think of not only my family but all of Oklahoma and their struggle. I hope in the future that this event will only make us stronger. That this event will make America stronger. I pray to god that this obstacle can be surpassed.

ownership/innvation

Id say the two most important habits of mind topics are ownership and innovation. I think this because i feel these topics require you to show yourself not what people think you are.
First innovation, innovation is having the ability to change are create something. having this skill is tremendously important for all students, because without innovation there would be no creativity and with no creativity there wouldn't be anyone moving forward (technology wise) and our planet is pretty much based on technology. So innovation importante.
Now ownership, ownership is when you take responsiblity of your work. Having ownership is important so people observing your work can think "man that guy is proud of his work. ownership is also muy importante.

Wonder/Evidense

Wonder and evidence also contribute on the path to becoming a great student.
All students imagine and all students think. this falls under the topic of wonder. To have Wonder is to have the will to ask "why? or how?" this could be . having a sense of wonder is a must have for any student because without it you would never know or learn the actual facts of your topic.

Evidence is proof. To persuade anyone about anything, you must have proof because almost every time they wont believe you with out it. evidence is important because to have a good argument or to present anything there must be proof. You cant just state a fact and hope your audience will believe you... you as a student must provide evidence to support your topic.

perspective/mindfulness "turtle shell"

Perspective and mindfulness are huge parts in everyday school life. These topics help contribute to being a perfect student. Perspective is a must have for any student. perspective is the angle you look at something. For example, you and your classmate are at a museum and at the museum you see a gray scale sculpture of a man sitting on a tree stump. when you both look at this you both think of something different these thoughts are perspective. the reason perspective is important is because you as a student must think of things in different angles to better understand what ever your thinking of. this also falls under mindfulness.

Mindfulness is being able to create or view something in a way were you don't offend are verbally hurt others. being mindful is being able to see in someone else s point of view or perspective and think "wow this may hurt someone" or "wow they might really like this." Mindfulness is important because of its courtesy to others.
